Why a space dedicated to the trust?
What makes relationships between people more or less fluid is the degree of trust between them and my hope is that we can maintain a continuous link with the fruit of honesty that I write and act.
The etymology of trust found in the Latin verb confidant, is, to trust, to hope and have faith in someone's safety. That is, is related to faith, believing, in this case, faith in respect to a given word or promise made by someone.
How to write José Antonio Marina (1999, Dictionary of them Sentimientos. Barcelona: Anagram)
"The Trust is (...) an attitude above the future. In metaphorical Sentido be applied to everything I believe he will not disappoint mis expectations. I trust the security of a bridge in the Bolsa estabilidad in mis propias Forces. But in strict Sentido can only be relying on people, just WHY haberse comprometido Furthermore, knowing them to act in a particular way. "
Another reference that helps me understand the importance of trust is the Nobel Prize in Economics Kenneth Arrow (1974, The Limits of Organization. New York: WW Norton):
"Trust is an important lubricant of the social system. It is extremely efficient, it saves a lot of trouble to have a fair degree of reliance on other people's word ... Trust and similar values, loyalty or truth-telling, are examples of what The Economist would call 'externalities'. They are good, they are commodities, they have real, practical economic value, they increase the efficiency of the system, enable you to Produce more goods or more of whatever values you hold in high esteeme. "
For me, these two explanations of trust - a philosophical and a sociological - are enough to understand the concept and its importance. If I find another interesting contribution, add it.
