ON entrepreneurs and employers

Dear employer, in a difficult situation in which we are analyzing each of which has cost our company, it is easy to be tempted to remove the half-yearly or annual fee to pay the employers' associations to which they belong. If we go further, and indeed the temptation becomes "sin" will not go through the confessional, is only a "venial sin", a human decision, understandable and entirely legitimate, but it raises a question: why can I low if the employer so far I've been a member? The answer is - painful for leaders of the employer - to "remove any advantage in not as if removed would keep investment", not spending.

The next question, which can now be done on both sides is: why there is no profit? Probably also believe that because both parties do not offer the service associated with the request, seeing it each from his perspective.

Whereas this approach may be worthwhile to adapt the phrase of John F. Kennedy: ask not what you can do for your employer, you wondered what you can do for employers.

But the leaders of the employers should be aware that they must provide service, the member shall receive compensation. There are those who have chosen to become, even in services company competing directly with other companies, and personally I do not think this is the purpose of a business association - it would be a kind of cooperative dedicated to providing professional services. The service, whether regional or sector employers, is to project the group to make it visible, with the ability to influence others to support the needs and interests of its members, that is going to make policy in the noblest sense of the term. The service also involves horizontal activities that are useful for all partners but do not compete with services they can offer the market. One of the very clear, for example, information management, business intelligence as the Kingdom of the sector or region, to facilitate strategic decision making in companies that do not have access capability. But to provide service, the leaders of the employer must be able to identify that they want their partners and, above all that they do not know what they want, and this is a question of attitude, to show that actually care about for them to grasp the mood, visit them, see the reality about what concerns them, what they are happy to listen and to run initiatives and defend the interests of members in all locations required, ultimately, moving.

In these times we are living, employers should be kept together and the leaders of the employers, especially smaller ones, to demonstrate convincingly that they are at your side. Some children, because they do publicly.

    Fantastic reflection! The situation close to me and I feel completely identified with your opinion. Of course individual behavior does not always correspond with the positions that these same individuals or companies to make collective level, for various reasons and even for strictly business reasons. But this is so, so are business associations, to make policy or loby the correct sense of the word. It is important that we put on our part and especially to maintain consistency in the values ​​we stand for.
