Dear employer, last July, following the blackout that occurred in Barcelona I'll write a letter entitled Once upon a time by that which was also fifteen years of the 1992 Olympic Games, and recalled the feeling of self-esteem well done that then Gaudier and today we would recover. Ended the letter saying you "always remain citizens, despite the cabreo, we behave civically driving through a city without traffic lights." Unfortunately the suburban network of civic demonstration reaches a sublime level. It is noteworthy that, in an era of ordinances against antisocial behavior, seriously injured in a scenario that social cohesion, the show hit a high level of politeness.
The word civility comes from the Latin word Civis, which meant "people" referring to the inhabitants of the city, which accounted for and covered the lives of many people within its walls, and the civitas designate a set of beings linked to human social bonds. Given this semantic origin seems logical to define citizenship as a set of ideas, feelings, attitudes and habits of individuals and groups make good members of political communities in which they are integrated. Accordingly, civility implies an unconditional commitment to the common good, the good men and for men and therefore the person is its ultimate goal.
It is to be careful in fulfilling civic obligations, some obligations in the social environment can have different content, but are the result of our democratic life since the eighteenth century built on the foundations of the rights and duties . About individual rights that have meaning only within a community, that is, when others recognize them. That would be absurd to debate the rights and duties on a desert island where there were only one human being would have all the freedom, but no right, because there would be no one to recognize them, there would be no one who had the duty respect him his rights! Therefore, the rights and obligations arise from the same society, the common life of the agreement and respect, and are the pillars of civility.
Our fellow citizens affected by the mismanagement of the suburban service we are teaching at its finest, to exercise it, and I wish it were so for the duration of the situation. They are angry, they feel badly treated, they have changed their lifestyle and have caused fear and anxiety in short, are outraged because they have injured his right not to public transport - as a right that is debatable -, but to receive a service that is available to and for which pay the fare. Despite this, they must recognize their good education, because after all, civility is not a statement of good intentions but the coexistence of irrefutable proof of good conduct in everyday life, which are based on respect the rights of others.
Dear friend, this praise of civility that I applied some may find it a sign of weakness, perhaps some will think that deserves aggression aggression, abuse that deserves abuse. Who think and act well - I hope you do not - it really is showing weakness. Keep calm and serenity in difficult times is a bullish signal. Being polite is rude when other evidence is not a good person, maybe, but great person, try to learn in life to put the bit in the great mountain of conviviality.
Never before has so far had been a broad recognition of rights, and yet, I think people feel more threatened or assaulted and, consequently, the likelihood of conflict is higher. Learn, then, victims of poor management of train services to improve our civility, while demanding compensation for their rights. And that means not being civic standing, working to build our future.
